Call of Duty: Warzone appears to be getting a mobile version. This can be deduced from a now removed or already filled vacancy on the site of Activision, the publisher of the Call of Duty games. Whether it’s a version for smartphones or the Nintendo Switch, it’s not clear.
The vacancy has since disappeared, but include PC Gamer displays some parts of the original vacancy, mentioning specific Warzone-related issues. For example, the task is defined as that the applicant must use and customize the essential features of Warzone for the consoles and PC for the best ‘mobile concretisation’.
Also, the new employee should further improve the Warzone formula by proposing and producing specific mobile additions. Furthermore, he needs to adapt certain features in order to achieve the best possible mobile experience. In addition, the new employee will serve as the primary contact point within the Warzone Mobile team, focusing on user features, user experience and overall quality.
Activision already has Call of Duty: Mobile. Released in October last year, this mobile game also includes a battle-generous mode in addition to regular multiplayer options. Warzone is the battle-royale mode of last year’s Call of Duty and is available on consoles and PC. Whether a mobile version of Warzone will actually appear and if so, when, is still unknown. The arrival of this is obvious, considering the popularity of Warzone: this mode already had 75 million players.
