Sony has shown an extensive gameplay video of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game from PlayStation studio Insomniac was announced earlier, but gameplay had not yet been shown. The game will be released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
In the seven-minute video, actions scènes and cut-scènes alternate. The footage was recorded on a PlayStation 5 console and the trailer is in 4K resolution on YouTube. It’s the first time Sony and Insomniac have shown extensive gameplay of the game.
At Sony’s previous PlayStation livestream in June, the game was announced. At the time, only a short teaser trailer could be seen. It was also not yet known whether the game will be coming to the PlayStation 4, which is now clear. At the end of the trailer it says that the game appears for both generations. An exact release date is not yet there, Sony is holding it on ‘holidays 2020’.
Update: Sony has announced that the game will be released simultaneously with the PlayStation 5 on November 19. There will also be a remaster of the PlayStation 4 game Spider-Man for the PlayStation 5. Sony will offer a bundle of 80 euros, containing the new game and the remaster. Spider-Man: Miles Morales costs 60 euros.
